Free-Range egg wholesale and export planning for importers, distributors and food businesses. Super Jumbo: more than 72 g per egg under the South African reference used here. This lower boundary is not the average batch mass or a complete international grade definition.

Free-range eggs are associated with hens having access to outdoor areas under the applicable production standard. Outdoor-access rules, permitted stocking and verification differ by market and certification scheme. Specify the standard instead of relying only on the phrase free-range.
Super jumbo table eggs are offered as an export-size enquiry in this catalogue. Larger presentation portions and buyers specifying an especially large shell egg. For recipes sold by weight, recalculate egg counts rather than substituting one-for-one. Agree the exact count, shell colour and production claim before comparing quotations.
Super Jumbo: more than 72 g per egg under the South African reference used here. This lower boundary is not the average batch mass or a complete international grade definition.
Write the required mass rule into the purchase specification alongside shell condition, grading criteria and any permitted variation. USA egg-size classes and European size bands must be checked separately. A size label alone does not establish an internal-quality grade.
Ask for outdoor-access records, source-farm traceability and the audit or scheme documentation required by the buyer. Organic certification is a separate question.
Free-range does not automatically mean pasture-raised, organic or higher in omega-3.
For a certified programme, check the certificate holder, validity, product scope and packing-site coverage. Keep the approved claim wording with the purchase order so that substitutions and retail repacking cannot silently change the specification.
Free-range egg exporters serve buyers building differentiated retail ranges, hospitality menus and welfare-led distribution programmes.
European, USA and African buyers should check both local labelling rules and their customers’ policies. Outdoor access can be affected by animal-health restrictions; verify the applicable treatment of any temporary housing orders.
Discuss 6, 10, 12, 15, 18, 24 or 30-egg retail formats, 30-egg trays and master cartons assembled to the agreed count. Availability of each format must be confirmed. A 12-tray case can contain 360 eggs; a seven-tray case can contain 210. Their external dimensions and loading counts are not interchangeable.
Confirm deep-pocket trays, cell clearance and closure height. Extra-large shells must not be forced into a standard tray or allowed to touch adjoining eggs.
Keep free-range case and retail labels aligned with the approved destination wording and traceable source lot.
Agree the lawful temperature regime for the actual origin and destination, including washed or unwashed status. Applicable US consumer-destined shell eggs must be transported and stored under refrigeration at ambient air temperatures no greater than 45°F / 7.2°C. This is a regulatory maximum, not a universal recommended set point for every route.
Ask for packing dates, agreed remaining receiving life, temperature records and shell-condition acceptance criteria. Confirm deep-pocket trays, cell clearance and closure height. Extra-large shells must not be forced into a standard tray or allowed to touch adjoining eggs. Housing or feed claims do not remove normal food-safety obligations.
Confirm the source country, destination, importer responsibilities, permits and health-certificate requirements before booking. EU and UK access for US eggs can involve establishment-listing requirements. Current animal-health restrictions can change whether a route is available.
Refrigerated truck transfer, seafreight booking, customs clearance and receiving arrangements must be planned together. Table eggs do not inherit the hatching-egg 24–48 hour airfreight target. No fixed global transit time or guaranteed shelf life is promised on this page.
Free-Range egg suppliers quote against the actual product, Super Jumbo size requirement, packing format, order volume and route. Compare the cost per egg, per master carton and per delivered shipment on the same specification; eggs at wholesale prices still need a documented quality and delivery agreement.
Send your destination, required delivery window, production claim, shell colour, carton count, pallet preference and purchasing term. Opallex supports table-egg wholesale and international export enquiries from its USA-based business. Source origin, certifications, availability and final loading quantity are confirmed in the quotation, not assumed from a catalogue page.
Weight minimums are South African approximate lower boundaries (strictly greater than), not US or European equivalences. Mixed means mixed sizes.

| 48 | 480 | 1,104 |
Opallex’s 40ft USA-pallet planning reference is 20 pallets × 42 cartons = 840 cartons. At 48 cartons per pallet, the mathematical total is 960 cartons. Each scenario requires its own approved carton pattern, pallet rating, height, stability and weight checks; USA and Euro patterns are not interchangeable.
Container rows use our supplied reference of 42 cartons per pallet: USA pallets 378 / 840 cartons and Euro pallets 420 / 966 cartons for 20ft / 40ft reefers. Egg and weight estimates use Super Jumbo, planning batch average 76 g, 360 eggs per carton and the tare inputs below. Truck rows are separate pack-specific calculations. Container floor-loaded quantities await carton dimensions and an approved loading pattern. Floor loading always means protected master cartons without pallets, never unprotected eggs.

Super Jumbo: more than 72 g per egg under the South African reference used here. This lower boundary is not the average batch mass or a complete international grade definition.
At 42 cartons per pallet, Opallex’s USA-pallet reference is 378 cartons in a 20ft reefer and 840 in a 40ft high-cube reefer. Our Euro-pallet reference is 420 and 966 cartons respectively. Alternative scenarios use 30, 36, 40 or 48 cartons per pallet, subject to packing approval. Container floor-loaded quantities require actual carton dimensions, safe stacking and airflow checks before quotation.
No. Floor loading here means protective master cartons loaded without pallets. Eggs still need suitable trays, cartons, restraint and approved handling.
Compare the actual source and lot records, destination eligibility, claim evidence, packing specification, temperature plan and written terms. A search phrase such as top USA eggs exporters is not independent verification of a supplier’s ranking or shipment eligibility.
Ask for outdoor-access records, source-farm traceability and the audit or scheme documentation required by the buyer. Organic certification is a separate question.
